Join ACBA for the Sixth Annual RED Party Fundraiser!
Nominated Best Party of 2013 by the Charleston City Paper, the Red Party celebrates the educated artisan and increases awareness about traditional building and artisan craft in today’s society, while raising funds for the College’s programs.
This year we take the romance of 18th century Rococo, the opulence of the Palace of Versailles and the excitement of an approaching mob, put it in a shaker, mix it all together and - voilà - a masquerade ball a la Versailles. It’s France in the late 1700s, there’s more gilt than the eye can behold and the spirits flow like water. Do the Sun King and his queen, Marie Antoinette, realize the Revolution is approaching? The Royal House of Bourbon is about to see a whole lot of Red.
When you arrive at the Old Charleston Jail on October 24, 2014, it will be the Palace of Versailles.
EMBRACE THE LAVISH THE 18TH CENTURY FRENCH MASQUERADE REMIXED and be a part of this worthwhile fundraiser. This is a costume party so dress to impress and be prepared for a red hot night not to be forgotten!
Get into the spirit of the Red Party. During the coming months leading up to the "Anarchy In Charleston" Red Party, ACBA will be hosting pop-up events throughout Charleston and on Facebook including a Specialty Cocktail Contest at seven local bars and restaurants downtown.

- Tempting Specialty Cocktails fit for royalty created by Charleston’s finest mixologists.
- Spectacular food prepared by some of Charleston's top establishments including: Mosaic Catering,Saveurs Du Monde, Sugar, P.I.E Bake Shoppe, Cake Pop, Glazed, Edmund's Oast, Vanilla Bean Pastry, Twenty Six Divine, Home Team BBQ.

GENERAL ADMISSION: $90 advance/ $100 Door
Doors swing open at 7:00 - includes two complimentary drink tickets and buffet.
VIP: $180
VIP guests have access to a private garden lounge and the SalonVIP with parlour games, specialty hors d'oeuvres and receive four complimentary drink tickets.

Online ticket sales close Wednesday, Oct 22 at midnight. Tickets will be available at the door the night of the event unless sold out.
Why is it The “RED” Party?
Red is the most emotionally powerful color and really catches people’s attention. It signifies intensity and energy that stimulates a faster heartbeat and breathing. Red adds sparkle to a party and perhaps even hints at a dash of danger.
Red encourages artistic skills and talents; hence, it is an inspiring color for creative individuals who represent the college’s students and all the people who attend the party.
