The Nutcracker - Thursday Evening

The Nutcracker has been an annual event performed by MPPAC for the past 11 years and brings joy and delight to all ages as it starts off the holiday season. This year’s performance will be held at the Sottile Theatre, downtown Charleston on Thursday, Dec. 3rd at 7pm and Friday, Dec. 4th at 7pm. Tickets are only $16 in advance and $20 if purchased at the door. An inexpensive but certainly worthwhile event to start your holiday.
Synopsis about The Nutcracker:
After a festive Holiday Party, Clara falls asleep and embarks on a magical journey from giant mice and soldiers to beautiful snow flakes into the scrumptious Land of the Sweets.
Mount Pleasant Performing Arts Company was founded by Larisa Dahabi in August of 2005 to create a professional environment where students can grow and learn about the dance profession. In an effort to further the mission of arts education and expand performance opportunities MPPAC has been established as a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation. MPPAC is a pre-professional youth dance company, promoting the importance of commitment and determination, in a non-competitive atmosphere.
