Speed Dating Scavenger Hunt

Are you single in Charleston? Would you like to meet some real life dates and not just bots?

We have what you are looking for.

On Purpose Adventures, the premeire adventure event planning company in Charleston, SC has added a twist to traditional speed dating. Instead of ladies sitting at tables and having guys rotate through the room every few minutes, OPA wants to create active mini-dates that aren't stuffy like rehearsed interview questions.

Using a GPS based scavenger hunt app, you will go on 3+ (depending on how many signups) dates in a 2 hour period. These dates will involve strolling through the historic streets of Charleston's French Quarter district.

Cost: $35 per person

What you get, a minimum of 3 dates, gifts, memories and a drink at our host location (TBD)

How it works:

The ladies will be instructed to download the app prior to the event date.

They will be then paired with their first date. 

Together they will be lead by the app to certain locations and required to ask each other questions, answer trivia, take photos, be silly, etc. 

Every 5 -10 locations (depending on signups) you will be met by another pair and you will then swap dates and proceed with the route.

Another 5-10 locations and you will meet another pair and this will repeat.

Each person receives a drarstring bag, bottle of water, date like gifts and a drink at our final location.

Please note that no personal information should be exchanged during the speed dating scavenger hunt, so please don't ask your date for it. At the end, each person will be able to select the top 2-3 dates they had a connection with, if those people also mention you, then you will provided with each other's contact information. This rule is for protection and safety. We also ask that only first names be used.

We have several age ranges. Select the age range that your age falls into that best represents the age of the dates you would like. If you are 40, do not select 20-25. You will not be able to participate.

All registration must be completed by Sunday July 10, 8pm in order to work out the logistics of the hunt with enough time. There will be no sign-ups the week of or day of.

For this to work we will have to have matching numbers of participants of each age range and gender. If the numbers do not work, every participant will be asked to invite more singles or the last non-matching person to register will be given a refund. Space is limited, however, if certain age ranges fill up faster than others, they will be increased and other possibly decreased.

To our lesbian and gay friends, due to the amount of ticketing options and ages, if there is significant interest we will create one for you as well.

What you need to bring:

Comfortable shoes and clothing per weather

Charged smartphone (will be using data and make sure you have room for photos)

This hunt takes place downtown starting near Market St. Specifics and itinerary are providing only to paid participants.
