September Charity Tasting Benefiting Birthdays for All

The Glass Onion will raise money and awareness for area charity—Birthdays for All—on Wednesday, September 21 from 5:30-7:30p.m. at their monthly charity tasting. The tasting will feature three cocktails by Dixie Southern Vodka, including:
Ø The Ascot (a southern twist on a pimms cup)
o Cucumber infused Dixie Southern Vodka, Dixie Citrus, Pimms, Blenheim’s Spicy Ginger Ale
o Served over ice, garnished with apple slice, orange slice, lemon wheel, fresh mint
Ø Pama Don’t Preach
o Dixie Black Pepper Vodka, Triple Sec, Pama, Fresh Citrus, Agave Nectar
o Served up, garnished with dehydrated blood orange wheel
Ø Barrel Aged Manhattan
o Chicken Cock Bootlegger Rye, German Amaro, Fee Brothers Orange bitters
The tastings will be paired along with small bites to enjoy for $10 per person. In an effort to bring awareness and raise funds for an important nonprofit organization, $5 of every ticket will benefit Birthday for All, an organization that provides birthday presents to children in foster care and group homes in the Lowcountry. Attendees can also bring new toys for kids to the event. The organization is in need of gifts for kids ages 1-21 (the 18-21 are special needs). The majority of donations they receive are for younger kids so they are most in need of things for 12-18 year olds (lotions, craft kits, jewelry kits, axe produces, pokemon cards etc.)
