Solar Eclipse Paddles

This event has passed.

Nature Adventures and On Purpose Adventures has parterned to provide 4 amazing ways to observe history.

The excitement is building for the Total Eclipse event on August 21st. Join us as we paddle and camp on Capers Island. Be in the path of totality at 2:41pm for this unique experience. Option 1: We will paddle out Sunday August 20th, set up our camp and enjoy the pristine beach. Enjoy the sunset fireside with the sounds of subtle waves breaking. Rise early for a dip on the ocean or sip coffee and listen to gulls and terns announcing their arrival. We will begin to watch as the moon approached. NA will provide viewing glasses to safely observe as the sun is hidden and the corona is exposed. Following the eclipse, the group will paddle back with amazing memories. Option 2 is a day trip to Capers and Option 3 is a 3 hour kayak tour on Historic Shem Creek and Option 4 is a 2 hour SUP tour on Shem.
