Chatham County Line Brings Newgrass to the Lowcountry

Ear For Music is thrilled to announce that Newgrass legends Chatham County Line are coming to the Woolfe Street Playhouse for an evening of both musical tradition and innovation on April 7, 2016.  Doors open at 7pm followed by an 8pm show time and seating will be first come first served.  Tickets will be on sale through Boldtype Tickets starting this Friday for $18 advance and $20 day of show.

Chatham County Line got their start in the late '90s when guitarist Dave Wilson and bassist Greg Readling began playing under the name Stillhouse. After a jam session or two with banjoist Chandler Holt and mando player John Teer, Wilson suggested they start a band and Chatham County Line was born. Well-deserving of inclusion on a list of America’s best modern string bands, CCL have released seven albums and toured hundred of thousands of miles.
